I started playing guitar a while ago and I get you need to develop calluses etc, but fingers are supposed to crack? Because the tips of the mines where press the strings down on the frets are literally broken. Yes girl, that's normal lol. that only the outer layers of skin to shed about corns, because they are forming underneath. Do not worry, eventually soften. To expedite the process, play until it hurts, then play some more. Good lucky!
