In the world of music, there are a lot of different chords which comprise the sonic palette of every musician (unless of course you are a drummer, but even if so, keep reading, there is an opportunity to learn here). A chord is open when playing any of the notes have flats or sharps. An open chord is usually be the first, third and fifth notes of a scale. One of the chords most commonly used are different from those 7 chords: among them, D7, C7 and G7 to name few.
To play a G7 chord on a guitar:
* Finger the third fret of the sixth string with the ring finger.
* Finger the second fret of the fifth rope, using his middle finger.
* Finally, the finger of the first section of the first string, using your index finger.
* The other three strings are played open, ie unfingered.
With some practice, find it easier to keep your fingers curled to stay in their own dishes. Now play the chord. In a G-7 cable, there is a difference of only one note of what is played on a G major chord.
Similarly, the C7 chord is played with only a difference of a note which are in an C major chord. When playing a C7 chord, begin by forming a C major chord on the fretboard as follows:
* Ring finger, third fret, fifth string.
* Middle finger, second fret, fourth string.
* The index finger, first fret, second string.
Then add to this:
* Pinky, the finger third fret, third string. Now strum the five bottom strings to play the C7 chord.
To play a D7 chord (as D major, but with the seventh note added):
* Middle finger on the second fret of the third string.
* The index finger on the first fret of the second string.
* The ring finger on the second fret of the first string.
* Now strum the bottom four strings to play this chord.
Looking chord charts for these strings, plucked strings that are not represented with an X over them. To ensure that you are playing the chord correctly, first boot each note alone. These chords practice as well as moving from chord to chord. Try saying the name of the chords while playing to get used to the name, fingering and the sound of each.
A chord 9 equals the string of a 7th, but with added sessions (ninth is one octave higher than the base note; known as a tonic, plus two frets).
A ninth chord is composed of: 1-3-5-B7-9.
Major 7th chord is minor 9: 1-3-5-7-9
The 7th minor 9th chord is: 1-B3-5-B7-9
On 9th chords are: —
* A = # AC-EG-B #
* B = BD # F #-A #-C #
* C = CEGBD
* D = DF #-AC #-E
# * E = EG-BD-F # #
* F = FaceGen
* G = GBDF #-A
