How do you fix a guitar mic / switch?
I have an Epiphone SG and it worked perfectly, but day one of the microphones work, when the switch is in a final pickup worked well, but on the other hand, had no noise, but among them is not sound and so I thought that was how I had it fixed and I think he said that only clean the switch, but soon after, it happened again, and I know how to fix it, yesterday opened the back and used a screwdriver to push the contact in a bit, which helped today as another pick-up works, but is very brittle, while that he worked all sounds good. I'm sure it's quite simple, but I want to know how to help. Am I just a little isopropyl or something to clean it with what? In If so, how to use it? (I read this on the web, while looking for answers) I just use a pick-up since then, but I wish I could use both.
Since the problem keeps coming back, I would replace the entire switch. They are not expensive and is a permanent solution. If done well and with the switch on the right, it is doomed to fail you.
