Epiphone as Gibson guitars, but cheaper.'m A player I wonder witch make or model of guitar is best for me at a reasonable price <$ 250. It comes with the amp and other accessories, I also saw this line: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product?sku=480674X and wondered if it works equally well for a ruler amplifier, and if I have to buy a stero amp or go with him. Epiphone are good! Consider the generic version as Gibons, are performed essentially the same people. Find the "generic" brands can save money, but make sure you have a good product. For example, Ltd. is ESP generic (if it means anything to you), Mackie Tapco is a generic, etc. Good stuff. The V-AMP is an effects processor, not a complete amplifier. Despite their needs vary in May, if you want to hear strong I will suggest a different direction. I will be very honest – who had the rack mount version of this processor (the V-AMP PRO) and parts of it are cool, but a large part is a bit like "bleh" to use a technical term. It is the quality and because it is cheap, but not superior. If you gets, it gets because its price and because it is done while you're saving for something better. I recommend the Epiphone Valve Jr. combination is less than $ 200, and head / Cabin version is less than $ 300. I took one, I use the head with one of my cabin, and am surprised at how sweet it sounds. It has no features or special effects but has a big sound. Put a pedal in front of it (although the V-AMP, I guess) and you should have a sound with volume levels that should not be too ridiculous. I always recommend buy the amp and guitar separately. You get a better quality of road. It really helps if you have the budget to be a little demanding. I had a couple different guitars, and I discovered that I like LTD EC-50 EC-100qm. They are fairly cheap, but they sound pretty decent. As with any cheap guitar, you should expect the need to maintain set and really helps improve their microphones, but this in mind, worth very well, play well, and can sound very good. Personally, I suggest Elixir Strings. They are dressed, and last longer. I play with more than a decade, and I still hate changing strings. =) Google "guitar string Care" advice on how to keep their chains last longer. My favorite is the lubricant chain GHS Fast freight. Reduces chain noise and makes it easier to slide your fingers around. I think that helps too long chains. I do not know. Look, either way you go, I strongly strongly recommend that you play guitar first, and compare with other guitars. I deceived by the beauty Misleading a BC Rich Warlock, but suffered for it once I started to live. Do not stay tuned, the neck did not feel uncomfortable, and never all sounded so great, even with EMG in it. I'm much happier with my Jackson Dinky and LTD! Saul
