Patato 'Carlos Valdez is my favorite. He never received the recognition that Poncho Sanchez Ray Barretto or succeeded, but his style is more to my liking. Besides Patato, Ray and Poncho, Mongo Santamaría, Don Alias and Figureoa Sammy are also on my list of top congueros.
