How can I get the film rights to turn it into a Broadway musical?
My plan is to take a movie and adding scenes and songs into a Broadway musical. How would I go about doing this?
You have to write first, then you have to approach the group that owns the rights to the film. The rights to make this musical then you must purchase before they might occur. If this is a conventional film rights would probably be incredibly expensive. If you got this far, then go to local theater companies. Very few make music all the way to Broadway.
