Can you use an AV selector switch to select the speakers?
I have an AV selector switch. that the primary use is to select among components, with only one entry from Jack in the receiver. But instead, I would use it to toggle between two sets of speakers. Indeed, the reverse of normal use. entry will be that he entered, the output would be connected to real speakers. The switch is passive, so I guess that this can be done. I just worry about "things of entry" to go "out" jacks and vice versa. Or is that no matter with a passive switch I do this w / o fry my speakers / amp?
You can not do so using this switch. The change you are describing has multiple entries and 1 output. Want 1 input and multiple outputs. This does not work that way. You can get a speaker selector that will do what you want, for around $ 75. Good lucky!
